REM is a NetBeans module for ZK-powered application development. It can be used to create ZK web Applications, ZUL and ZS documents supporting ZUL syntax highlighting, auto indent, code folding, code hyperlink navigation and code completion. The ZUL editor has a component palette which allows developers to drag a component in the editor and get a code snippet generated making it extremely useful and convenient for developers.

The latest NetBeans REM 6.5.1.1 has been officially released to support the latest version of ZK Framework 6.5.1.1, which introduces a few new features including page visibility with HTML 5 API.
