CirrusMD launches first major upgrade to telemedicine platform
DENVER, April 28, 2016/PRNewswire-iReach/ CirrusMD successfully launched a new version of its virtual care platform today. The upgrade improves patient and physician experience based on over a year of research and becomes the only platform to significantly scale physician availability for patients.
Today's update makes CirrusMD the first in the telehealth market to build on the best practices of the messaging platforms that have been adopted widely in personal and business communications. The updated platform brings these best practices to healthcare encounters. The completely redesigned and rebuilt solution allows local physicians staffing the platform to serve as many as 8 patients at a time an increase from 5 on the previous version, largely due to the modernized UX supporting a text messaging-first workflow. This ensures patients will never have to wait in a queue.
