Andrew Shaw and Nate Robinson Set for Chicago Locker Room by LIDS' Grand Opening Week, Beg. 4/1

The LIDS retail division, a multi-channel business unit of Indianapolis-based LIDS Sports Group, will be holding a week-long Grand Opening across its eight Chicago Locker Room by LIDS locations across the Chicagoland area starting on April 1. Each of these stores is specifically merchandised to cater to the Chicago sports fan and includes a large assortment of apparel, headwear and novelties of every locally favored professional and college team.

"Through our headwear stores, the LIDS brand has become a familiar destination for sports fans to express their affinity to their favorite sports teams," said LIDS Sports Group Executive Vice President of Retail Charlie Brodt. "The Chicago Locker Room by LIDS now gives Chicago fans the opportunity to take their passion for their favorite teams to a whole new level."

With locations in Woodfield, Orland Square, Lincolnwood, River Oaks, Gurnee Mills, Geneva Commons, Stratford Square and Clybourn Avenue, Chicago Locker Room by LIDS are conveniently located across the area. In partnership with New Era and Majestic Athletic, each of these locations will be participating in the Grand Opening which will include daily giveaways as well as opportunities for shoppers to win tickets to Chicago Cubs and White Sox games.

During the week, the Clybourn Avenue location will also host two athlete appearances. On Tuesday, April 2, Andrew Shaw of the Chicago Blackhawks will be in store from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to meet fans and sign autographs. Nate Robinson of the Chicago Bulls will be on location on Saturday, April 6 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. to sign autographs and visit with fans as well.
