DL1961 Premium Denim Debuts Kids Collection
DL1961 Premium Denim launched their newest product line, ACTIVEX, a performance denim collection for kids. ACTIVEX is a natural progression for the brand, translating DL1961's brand DNA into a collection that is stylish and functional for boys and girls. From running, jumping or tumbling to playing sports and skateboarding, ACTIVEX styles allow kids to move with ease, without feeling restricted by their denim.
"My twelve-year-old brother was our source of inspiration for this collection, after noticing there was a huge void in the denim market for sustainable kids denim," said Sarah Ahmed, DL1961 Creative Director. "Kids often choose gym shorts or leggings over jeans and we wanted to create a collection that would be stylish while maintaining comfort and flexibility."
Toddlers ages two to seven and boys ages eight to twenty can now choose from a range of styles named after theirfavorite professional athletes. Offerings include an array of fifty washes and fits including the Hawke skinny jean, Brady slim jean, Jordan straight jean and Manning unisex denim jacket. Girls can choose from a selection of classic blues, reds and whites for toddlers ages two to seven and adolescents eight to sixteen. Key styles include the Chloe skinny jean, Harper slouchy slim jean and Ivy relaxed skinny.
Crafted with the brand's revolutionary DLX technology, eco-friendly dyes and Intelligent Denim which is powered by odorless technology, SILVADUR, allowing for long-lasting performance, up to fifty-plus washes and won't affect the fit, feel, finish or appearance. Designed for kids on the go, the cross-weave technology of the fibers makes them extremely durable, preventing tearing or ripping while kids are in motion. ACTIVEX is where premium denim technology and attainable price points meet, keeping in mind that kids are constantly growing and in need of denim that will move with them throughout the day.
ACTIVEX is available online at www.DL1961.com and at stores worldwide, including Bloomingdale's and specialty boutiques. Prices range from $39 for toddlers to $49-$79 for girl's and boy's core styles.
