Belk Teams Up With HelloWorld to Give Brides-to-Be Their Dream Wedding and Private Concert With Edwin McCain
Belk, Inc., the southern retail department store and online retailer, is utilizing the rich engagement platform of digital firm HelloWorld, Inc. (formerly ePrize) to engage customers in a year-long celebration of Modern. Southern. Music.
Through February 28, participants are invited to share their love story with a photo for the chance to win a $20,000 event. Belk has partnered with Grammy-winning singer songwriter Edwin McCain who will perform a Private concert at the grand prize event. In addition, seven participants will be chosen to win a $100 Belk gift card.
Share Your Love Story can be accessed via mobile, Facebook or the web. Participants register and then are asked to submit a photo and short description of the love story depicted in it to be uploaded into the photo gallery. Photos can be selected from Instagram, Facebook, Flickr, or a mobile camera roll for quick uploading. Once submitted, participants are incentivized to share their entry on Twitter or via email to receive an additional entrance into the sweepstakes.
Along with Share Your Love Story, Belk plans to launch other multi-channel programs to promote its Modern. Southern. Music. campaign. This yearlong campaign pays homage to the roots of music, as well as today's hottest hits, and its influence on the southern lifestyle.
The retailer strives to create lifelong relationships with customers through various lifestyle expressions, and music has proven to be a key component in this initiative. "This campaign allows us to celebrate these moments with our customers and provide exclusive access to music partners that will create lasting memories."
