Kids II Receives Thirteen 2013 American Inhouse Design Awards
Kids II recently received 13 design awards from Graphic Design USA magazine's American Inhouse Design Awards. The American Inhouse Design Awards are given annually to inhouse designers, marketers and communications professionals who bring top-level creativity, problem-solving and value to their companies. The competition showcased the outstanding work done by Kids II designers.
"We're proud to see the talent at Kids II recognized. The awards from Graphic Design USA reinforce the importance of building a solid team of designers within our organization to execute innovation in everything we do from product and packaging to marketing," said Tara King, the Director of Corporate Communications at Kids II.
Kids II won seven awards in the "Packaging" category. Six of those packages were created for Taggies. The packaging helps show off the colorful looped ribbons with various textures and vibrant patterns that make Taggies the unique and well-loved products they are. The seventh Packaging award was for the Oball Anyway Stacker. The simple, yet captivating box reflects the brand and makes a hero out of the toy. A logo for Up Up and Away for Bright Starts won in the "Logo" category. The logo smartly captures the clever and engaging nature of baby and infant toys by Bright Starts.
The additional five awards were in another four categories, including "Environmental Graphics," "Internet," "Brochures" and "Advertising." Collectively the designs captured a wide-range of Kids II audiences such as consumers, partners and vendors, and potential employees.
The winning entries are published in the 250-page Inhouse Design Awards Design Annual and in Graphic Design USA's Online Awards Gallery.
"Our 70 plus inhouse designers fuel the collaboration, innovation and strategy embedded in our distinctive culture throughout our 13 global offices and are the reason Kids II continues to be recognized as an industry leader on all fronts," said King.
