The Artists' Market at Leon & Lulu (96 W. 14 Mile) will be held Sunday and Monday, August 24-25, 2014. Artists and crafts people from across the state will showcase one-of-a-kind handcrafted items from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. August 24, and from 3 to 8 p.m. August 25. The work from approximately 30 local artists will be on display, including items such as jewelry, ceramics, photography, fiber art, clothing and much more. All products are handmade in the United States.

"It never ceases to amaze me how much local talent we have right here in Michigan," says Mary Liz Curtin, co-owner of Leon & Lulu. "We host the Artists' Market four times a year and we discover dozens of new artists every year. Some of the collections are so popular they become permanent fixtures at Leon & Lulu."

Leon & Lulu hosts the Artists' Market four times a year. While some beloved artists return, more than half of the exhibitors are new to the market to ensure a unique shopping experience for Leon & Lulu patrons. As always, Leon & Lulu will be serving up delicious roller rink fare, refreshments and lots of fun. For a list of participating artists or to apply to be involved, please visit
