The new year will bring new plays to BCT, beginning with the World Premiere of a poignant comedy set in Warren, Michigan. It's there you'll meet Rose MacBeth Ericson, a fiercely independent woman who's seen nine decades of change and isn't shy about sharing her opinions. Rose hires a man named Dano, played by Dwayne Blackaller, to help her around the house. Dano is high functioning on the autism spectrum and Rose is as tough as they come, but they forge an unlikely friendship that you won't forget.

Prepare to embark on a grand musical tour of Eastern Europe with music of Dvorak, Suk, and Kodaly. The Philharmonic welcomes the return of audience favorite Zuill Bailey, cellist, performing Dvorak's lush and romantic Cello Concerto in B minor. The cheerful Serenade for Strings composed by Dvorak's prize pupil, Josef Suk, begins the evening. Zoltan Kodaly's Dances of Galanta is guaranteed to melt the winter blues with the burning folk energy of the Hungarian melodies.

He will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame during a special Medallion Ceremony in Nashville this October.
