Nick Pitera Astounds With New One-Man ALADDIN Video

Nick Pitera Astounds With New One-Man ALADDIN VideoA performance from Disney's hit stage adaptation of iconic animated movie musical ALADDIN stopped the show at the 2014 Tony Awards and now versatile vocalist and performer Nick Pitera has introduced an astounding one-man musical take on the recognizable desert-set musical property.

"One Jump Ahead" to "Proud Of Your Boy" to "A Friend Like Me" to "Prince Ali" to "A Whole New World" and more, Pitera performs many of the Alan Menken/Howard Ashman/Tim Rice score's most adored showstoppers.

Of note, Pitera has risen to prominence through his take on "A Whole New World" as performed on THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW as well as other one-man performance videos such as ONE MAN DISNEY MOVIE, ONE MAN PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, ONE MAN LES MISERABLES and more.

The official description of the new stage version of Disney's ALADDIN is as follows: "Disney's new musical comedy ALADDIN brings the classic story from the screen to the stage for a theatrical experience beyond anything you've ever dreamed. With just one rub of a magic lamp, ALADDIN's breathtaking journey sweeps you into an exotic world filled with big laughs, bold adventure and true love."

Disney's ALADDIN features music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin, with the latter also responsible for the new book of the musical, and features direction and choreography by Casey Nicholaw. The design team for Disney's ALADDIN includes Bob Crowley (Sets), Gregg Barnes (Costumes) and Natasha Katz (Lighting).
