Jessica Chastain Remembers OTHELLO Co-Star Philip Seymour Hoffman

Jessica Chastain Remembers OTHELLO Co-Star Philip Seymour HoffmanRecent Broadway headliner and popular film star Jessica Chastain shares her sorrow over the shocking death of her former co-star Philip Seymour Hoffman byway of a new Facebook posting recounting their time spent together in OTHELLO in 2009.

Chastain starred with Hoffman in a 2009 Public Theater production of William Shakespeare's classic tragedy OTHELLO and shared some sage words from the drama as well as her own acknowledgement of his passing this weekend in an emotional social media post now available to view.

Chastain writes, "Phil was kind and humble. A huge talent was lost. My love and prayers go out to his family. It's so terribly sad. xxjes

The poor soul sat sighing by a sycamore tree,
Sing all a green willow.
Her hand on her bosom, her head on her knee,
Sing willow, willow, willow.
The fresh streams ran by her, and murmur'd her moans.
Sing willow, willow, willow.
Her salt tears fell from her, and soften'd the stones.
Sing willow, willow, willow.
