Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced today that Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will offer a special added performance to benefit The Actors Fund on Sunday, April 27 at 8:00 PM. The company of Beautiful will donate their time and talent for the performance, for an audience which will include cast members from current Broadway shows and other areas of the entertainment community. All proceeds will go to The Actors Fund, which helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. Beautiful opened on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street), on Sunday, January 12, 2014, where it's playing to sold-out crowds and has broken multiple box office records.

Comprised of never-before-seen archival footage, this enthralling 2011 documentary, directed by Esther Anderson and Gian Godoy, unveils rare glimpses into Bob Marley and The Wailers's rise to stardom, including the band's first rehearsal. Director Anderson will appear in person at the screening. Moderating the post-screening Q&A will be Warrington Hudlin, President of the Black Filmmaker Foundation, Museum trustee, and Changing the Picture co-curator.

Directed by Richard Jay-Alexander and featuring pianist and music director Mary-Mitchell Campbell, this newly created, one-night-only engagement showcases Ms. Chenoweth performing a varied evening of music that highlights her incredible range-from works influenced by her early operatic and classical training in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to hit songs from her starring roles on Broadway and in film. In addition to popular hits and classical selections, Ms. Chenoweth will perform new works, standards, and even works popularized by amateur soprano Florence Foster Jenkins. This performance marks Ms. Chenoweth's first solo appearance at Carnegie Hall since her sold-out show in September 2004.
