The award-winning Vital Theatre Company is pleased to announce FANCY NANCY THE MUSICAL, book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, music and lyrics by Danny Abosch, and Direction/Choreography by Sam Viverito, based on the book series by Jane O'Conner and illustrated by Robin Preiss Glasser, has extended performance through January 26th, 2014.

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced that due to overwhelming demand, THE COMMONS OF PENSACOLA, the world premiere play currently in rehearsals at MTC, is extending an additional three weeks. The limited engagement, which begins previews on Tuesday, October 22 in advance of a Thursday, November 21 opening at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street), must close on Sunday, January 26. This is the last possible extension for the production.

The Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS will perform at Yankee Stadium this Sunday, January 26 during the much-anticipated 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series in New York the National Hockey League announced today. Cast members Richard H. Blake, Matt Bogart, Jared Bradshaw and Christopher Messina will perform songs from JERSEY BOYS at the face-off between the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils during the pre-show. The game and performances will be broadcast live from Yankee Stadium at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC in the U.S. and CBC in Canada.

Gerard Mortier and the New York City Opera have commissioned Charles Wuorinen, an American composer, to turn Annie Proulx's Brokeback Mountain into a work for the operatic stage. Proulx wrote the libretto, and Wuorinen completed the opera in 2012. The premiere was postponed after New York City Opera's General Director, Gerard Mortier, resigned. The project was then again taken up by Mortier at the Teatro Real in Madrid and is set to premiere January 28, 2014.

Mr. Bwarie, who made his Broadway debut in the show last year, has played the role of Frankie Valli nearly 1,700 performances (including Las Vegas, the 1st national tour and Broadway). Mr. Cosgrove makes his Broadway debut direct from the national tour. After nearly 6 years with the production between the Broadway, Las Vegas and Chicago companies, Dominic Scaglione Jr. will play his final performance as Frankie Valli on Sunday, January 26, 2013.
