2025 AWARDS SEASON

The Bobby G Awards took place May 26 at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. After walking a red carpet for interviews and photo ops, hundreds of students and educators were joined by family and friends at the ceremony.

The Broadway play The Lehman Trilogy led the pack at the Outer Critics Circle Awards with six wins, including Outstanding New Broadway Play, followed by Kimberly Akimbo which earned four awards including Outstanding New Off-Broadway Musical.

Broadway's best were treated to a touching display at this year's Tony nominees luncheon at The Rainbow Room.

It was announced today by The Theatre World Awards Board of Directors and The Dorothy Loudon Foundation, that Michael Oberholtzer (Take Me Out) will receive the 13th Annual Dorothy Loudon Award for Excellence in the Theater, and four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein will receive the 9th Annual John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre.

The New York Drama Critics' Circle today named Samuel D. Hunter’s A Case for the Existence of God best play of the 2021-22 season. The award for best musical went to David Lindsay-Abaire’s and Jeanine Tesori’s Kimberly Akimbo. The selections were made at the organization’s 86th annual voting meeting.

The Broadway League has revealed the honorees of the League Awards, which were announced today during the League's 2022 Spring Road Conference, celebrating industry professionals whose outstanding achievements contribute to the success of Broadway on the Road. Since 1992, the League Awards recognize those who have displayed exemplary service to the Touring Broadway industry and are considered innovators of their craft.
