'Text Me When You Arrive' is currently on tour, with its journey that commenced at the National Arts Festival in June. The next stop on this impactful tour is the Soweto Theatre, where audiences can witness the compelling narrative unfold.

The South African premiere production of the Tony Award-Winning, Best Musical DEAR EVAN HANSEN comes to Artscape, Cape Town from 12 February to 9 March 2025 and then at Montecasino’s Teatro, Johannesburg from 15 March to 13 April 2025.

Acclaimed actress Bo Petersen is returning to the South African stage for her first full run of a production in 7 years. PIECES OF ME is an autobiographical one-woman show that explores her family history. Joining her on stage for this run at the Baxter is her cousin and musician Christopher Petersen. Christopher chatted to us about the production and his role in scoring it.

Klara van Wyk has a wonderful brand of humour and heart, and it's on display once again in MONIKA, IT'S ME. It's a beautiful piece of theatre. It makes you laugh, cry and think - and that's a good thing.

Showtime Australia will present 1999 The Ultimate Prince Experience on the Mandela Stage at Joburg Theatre from 30 August to 1 September, for its debut South African season, to pay tribute and reverence to one of the greatest musical pioneers of our time - Prince.

The story is full of all the classic stuff you'd expect from an Agatha Christie. Twists and turns, red herrings as to who the murderer is, characters clearly lying (but for what reason?!) and some very sharp dalogue. In this version of WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION, that dialogue was delivered beautifully. We had plenty of laughs throughout the play.

Milnerton Players will host veteran anti-apartheid activist, lecturer, author and former Commissioner on Gender Equality Prof. Gertrue Fester as she performs her one woman play Lookalike Terrorist on Friday July 12 at Milnerton Playhouse as part of the theatre's monthly Social evening.
