A festival of Indian classical music, featuring Pandit Jasraj, Kala Ramnath and Ken Zuckerman.
Pandit Jasraj is endowed with a rich, soulful and sonorous voice, which traverses effortlessly over all three and a half octaves. His vocals are characterised by a harmonious blend of classic and opulent elements, projecting traditional music as an intense spiritual expression.
Kala Ramnath has completely revolutionised the technique of playing the violin by taking this instrument so close to vocal music. Her lecture demonstrations with the New York Philharmonic, at Rotterdam Conservatory of Music, University of Geissen, and Weill Music Institute, have received tremendous acclaim.
