The longest-running Broadway show of all time, The Phantom of the Opera will play its final New York performance at The Majestic Theatre today, Sunday, April 16 at 5PM, after a record-breaking 35 years and 13,981 performances to 20 million people. The iconic Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera has arrived at Portugal for the very first time. With leading actors who previously played the roles at the West End London, the show is headed by Sofia Escobar, Lara Martins, Bruno Almeida and Fernando Fernandes.

Producers Cameron Mackintosh and The Really Useful Group have announced that Broadway's blockbuster phenomenon, Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera, directed by Harold Prince, will continue making history with two upcoming milestones. The musical will first celebrate its 31st Anniversary this Saturday, January 26, 2019. The production is next on track to reach an unprecedented 13,000 performances in April. Both are feats achieved by no other Broadway show.
