On the 10th anniversary of his death, the family of Trayvon Martin lifted their spirits at Broadway's Neil Simon Theatre for a performance of MJ. Check out photos with the cast below.

The curtain was raised last night for the opening night of one of the most anticipated musicals in recent Broadway history: MJ. The cast, including 12 Broadway debuts, took their first opening night bows at the Neil Simon Theatre. Newcomer Myles Frost, of Washington, D.C., made his Broadway debut as Michael Jackson and received multiple standing ovations. Check out photos from the curtain call below!

Tonight's the night! Inspired by the life and art of Michael Jackson, MJ officially opens on Broadway tonight, February 1, 2022 at the newly refurbished Neil Simon Theatre (250 W 52nd Street).

The cast, with 12 Broadway debuts, took their first bows in front of a sold-out audience of fans who have traveled from all over the United States (plus Europe, Canada, Mexico and Asia) to witness this first performance.

Preview performances of MJ the Musical will begin on Monday, July 6th, with Opening Night set for Thursday, August 13th at 6:30 p.m., at the Neil Simon Theatre, New York City.
