Late last month several member of the cast, crew, and musicians of Girl From The North Country gathered at Mare Winningham’s barn for a day of picture perfect summer fun. This is the first time a lot of the cast had seen each other in 18 months.

The eagerly-awaited Girl From The North Country - Original Broadway Cast Recording, is now available for purchase and stream. The album was released by Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment.

Today, on Bob Dylan's birthday, it was announced that Girl From The North Country will resume performances on Broadway on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Conor McPherson reimagines the songs of the legendary Bob Dylan in Girl From The North Country - the new musical about the dreams we keep close, the people we hold dear, and the place we call home.  

“Road to the North Country: Interpreting Dylan,” a virtual live stream event presented by the Bob Dylan Center, will feature cast members Todd Almond, Jeannette Bayardelle, Colton Ryan, Kimber Elayne Sprawl, and Mare Winningham from the acclaimed Broadway musical, Girl From The North Country, which features the music of Bob Dylan.

Girl from the North Country might not be in performances on Broadway, but the cast is still keeping busy! The new Bob Dylan musical just released a new music video featuring cast members Colton Ryan and Caitlin Houlahan coming together virtually to perform their version of 'I Want You'.

Last night a brand new music video for 'Tight Connection To My Heart,' from Girl From The North Country was released as part of Harlem Week's Virtual Music Festival.

Celebrated playwright Conor McPherson boldly reimagines the songs of the legendary Bob Dylan in Girl from the North Country - the soaring masterwork about the dreams we keep close, the people we hold dear, and the place we call home. The album was recorded on Monday, March 9th. Preorder and release date information will be available soon.
