Ballad of Dreams, the debut novel with music written by multihyphenate Allyson Hernandez, will release a companion concept album featuring the music from the novel. Hernandez will be partnering with Forbes 30 Under 30 Music list honoree Macy Schmidt, who will produce the music.

Teatro Paraguas will present Coyote Acid, a one-act play by Santa Fe-based poet John Macker. Rounding out the evening is a reading by actors of Out of The Light: Poems from Prison, a collection of poems chosen by John Macker by renowned poets from around the world written from or about prison.

Her show is a treasure trove of swinging tunes and she has gathered a smoking trio of musicians in drummer, David Silliman, bassists Skip Ward and her longtime partner in art, musical director Gregory Toroian.

In a spectacular musical evening that focuses largely on the seminal recordings made by these two legends in the 1970s, PIANO MEN celebrates two artists born on opposite sides of the Pond, whose albums from that period featured not only classic rock arrangements, but also lush, full-scale orchestrations. MSMT conjures up the ambiance with Joe Boucher’s dazzling four- piece rock band partnered by the breathtakingly grand twenty-piece MSMT orchestra under the impressive baton of Ben McNaboe.
