Original Broadway cast member and one of the show's celebrated understudies T. Oliver Reid will assume the role of Hermes at the Walter Kerr Theatre starting Tuesday, June 14.

Last night, Tony Award winner André De Shields played his final performance at the Walter Kerr Theatre in Hadestown, Broadway’s Tony Award-winning Best Musical. The emotional evening culminated in New York City Mayor Eric Adams coming on stage at the end of the show and proclaiming May 29, 'André De Shields Day.'

In lieu of any sort of curtain call speech, Tony winner and Broadway legend André De Shields took his final bows in Hadestown last night on Broadway and he performed 'Believe In Yourself' from The Wiz to mark the occassion. 

The Late Late Show with James Corden will feature a performance from the North American touring company of Hadestown airing Tuesday night, May 17, 2022, on CBS and streaming on Paramount+. Check local listings for air times.

Lana Gordon will play the role of Persephone in Hadestown, the winner of eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, starting Tuesday, February 22 at Broadway's Walter Kerr Theatre.
