New Jersey-based professional training orchestra Symphony in C presents Totally Mozart on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 8:00pm at the Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts in Camden, NJ. The all-Mozart program, led by guest conductor Joshua Hong, includes Mozart's Exsultate Jubilate, K. 165, Piano Concerto No. 23 in A Major, K. 488, and Symphony No. 40 in G minor, K. 550.

Verdi’s La Traviata will return to the Metropolitan Opera with eight performances October 25–November 19, 2022; five performances January 5–26, 2023; and five more March 4–18, 2023.

O22, as Opera Philadelphia's festival was called this year, wasn’t exactly “something old, something new” but more like big fat sandwich cookie. Written over 400 years ago, Cherubini’s MEDEA finally made it to the Met on the season’s opening night, in a new production by David McVicar. Was it worth the wait? If you take it for Sondra Radvanovsky’s performance in the title role, a chilling, a Herculean task, it earns an unqualified yes. She’s not afraid to rant and rave, or emit ugly sounds to show off her anger.
