Santa Monica Playhouse announces the extension of the hit comedy Mistakes Were Made - coulda-woulda-shoulda and the addition of award-winning actress Barbara Keegan to the cast, returning to the Playhouse in her third Jerry Mayer hit. Mistakes Were Made now playing through April 26.

Love Quirks, A New Musical Fable will be making its Off-Broadway premiere in an open-ended run at St. Luke's Theatre (307 West 46thSt.) later this month. Based on actual events, Love Quirks spotlights a group of thirty-somethings (gay and straight), as they explore the bizarre tribulations of love, friendship, and all the blurry lines in-between. The production features an original score of quirky, neurotic, and poignant songs by composer/lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh and a script by Mark Childers filled with laughter, pathos, and an abundance of sexual tension. Previews begin Friday, February 28th and the official opening night is slated for Monday, March 16th. Performances are on Mondays and Fridays at 8:15pm and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00pm. Love Quirks, a Musical Fable Based on Actual Events, has announced the complete cast for the premiere Off-Broadway production which will begin previews at St. Luke's on Friday, Feb 28th.

Love Quirks is a new musical fable based on actual events as a group of thirty-somethings explore the trials and tribulations of love, friendship, and all the blurry lines in-between. Love Quirks features an original score of quirky, neurotic, and poignant songs by composer/lyricist Seth Bisen-Hersh and a script by Mark Childers filled with laughter, pathos, and lots of sexual tension. Love Quirks will begin previews at St. Luke's Theatre on Monday, February 24th with an official opening of Monday, March 16th.

Amazon Studios announced today that Priyanka Chopra Jonas (Quantico) and Richard Madden (Bodyguard) will star in Citadel, the new multi-layered global series from the Russo Brothers' AGBO. Amazon also announced today that a local language production of the franchise will originate from Mexico, in addition to the previously announced versions in Italy and India. Madden and Chopra will star in the U.S. 'mothership' edition of the series.

It seems that the best things really do happen while you're dancing, or at least they do in the touring production of WHITE CHRISTMAS that's currently at DPAC. The musical is at its very best during its high-energy dance numbers. The show is based on the 1954 holiday classic film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen. With music and lyrics by Irving Berlin, the show is a fun Christmas-themed romp with plenty of 1950s nostalgia, beautiful costumes, and great tap dancing. 

The LA Phil's Deck the Hall concerts feature performances by an eclectic array of artists who bring the joy of the holiday season to concert-goers during this special time of year. Irving Berlin's White Christmas opened Sunday night November 17 to a packed house at Theatre at the Center in Munster.  The cast gave a thrilling performance for an audience that was teeming with the holiday spirit.  Theatre at the Center Artistic Director Linda Fortunato directed and choreographed the show.

In 2008, Reverend Vernon Jackson's Religious Broadcasting Network in Lynchburg Va. presented 'The Gay No More Telethon'. The goal: raise money to turn as many homosexuals as possible straight by the rapture or the 2014 Winter Olympics. Whichever came first. But now with the trump administration, the Supreme Court and the GOP looking to undo several advances made by the LGBTQ community since then, Reverend Jackson has seen the error of his ways and is touring the country to apologize.

Broadway star Adam Pascal (the original Roger Davis in 'Rent') comes to Thousand Oaks to play flim-flam man Harold Hill in 5-Star Theatrical's new production of 'The Music Man,' which opens Oct. 18 at the Fred Kavli Theatre. Cary Ginell interviews Pascal about his approach to the show, which he has never seen on stage and has only seen Robert Preston's iconic film version once.

Eleanor's Very Merry Christmas Wish - The Musical, a new family-friendly holiday production, will debut at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago, November 19 - December 29, 2019.

Mendacity and half-truths abound in the new, critically acclaimed musical solo work from internationally renowned pianist-singer, Mark Nadler. The Old Razzle Dazzle: An Evening of Lies, Lying and Liars will bow at the Laurie Beechman Theatre this fall on Wednesdays, Sept. 11th, 25th and Oct. 23rd at 7pm, and Oct. 30th at 9:30pm. Helen Hayes Award Winner BRIAN CHILDERS has spent the last twenty years receiving raves for his one man show 'An Evening with Danny Kaye' and starred off-Broadway as Danny Kaye in 'Danny and Sylvia: A Musical Love Story'. Brian will release his first studio album Life Unfurled independently in physical, digital and streaming formats on Thursday, October 17.
