The first Broadway revival of August Wilson's The Piano Lesson begins previews tonight, September 19, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre for its 17-week engagement.  Meet the cast bringing this play back to Broadway!

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present Grammy Award-nominated singer and songwriter Mykal Kilgore on Sunday, September 25 at 7:00 PM. Kilgore will perform original selections from his acclaimed debut album, A Man Born Black, in addition to his latest single “The Man in the Barbershop.”

The North Charleston POPS! has announced the appointment of a dynamic new Executive Director.  Musician and businessman Gregory Schoonover will take over the leadership of the POPS! on September 1.

CHELSEA TABLE + STAGE will present the debut performance of Black String, featuring new sounds from the ancient instruments of Korea, on Friday, September 9 at 7:00 PM. The show is being presented in partnership with The World Music Institute and Korean Cultural Center New York.

Woolard have recreated their work for the Broadway revival of “Dames at Sea,” for a production of the light-hearted, dance-centric musical at Bucks County Playhouse, running through September 11. Single tickets for the North Charleston POPS! 2022-2023 season shows will go on sale Monday, August 22 at 10 AM. The season features something for everyone. The musical stage production is conceived and directed by Saheem Ali, music and lyrics by Michael Thurber, and written by Jocelyn Bioh. Previews begin Saturday, August 13, and the show runs through Sunday, September 25.
