When people hear about Idlewild, the first thing that comes to mind is the 2006 drama film with a musical score produced, written, and mostly performed by the Grammy award winning hip-hop duo Outkast. Set in fictional Idlewild, Georgia, the film focuses on the seedier side of the music business rather than the majesty that was Idlewild, Michigan.

Tony-nominated original RENT star Adam Pascal performs a rock-and-roll celebration at San Francisco's Feinstein's at the Nikko, featuring acoustic renditions of Broadway anthems.

The Canadian musical OUR LITTLE SECRET, written by and starring Noam Tomaschoff, will play at Edmonton's Citadel Theatre. Directed by Broadway's Adam Pascal, the show explores a true story about discovering more than 35 previously unknown siblings.

Rent stars Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp will headline the AT&T Performing Arts Center's 2026 Bravo! Gala on November 19 at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas. The annual fundraiser will honor arts patron Barbara Thomas Lemmon.

Adelphi University's Performing Arts Center will open its Larson Legacy Concert Series season with a reading of KELLY NOWAK, a new musical by Jonathan Larson Grant recipient Abs Wilson and composer Adam LaPorte, at the Olmsted Theatre.

Original RENT Broadway stars Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal will reunite in London for a 30th anniversary celebration of the musical at Musical Con. The RENT 30th Anniversary Celebration will see Rapp and Pascal take to the stage to perform live, talk about the show and reflect on their extraordinary journey with RENT over the past three decades.

Idina Menzel has announced a few new tour dates with local symphonies starting this month through May of 2027. All of the concert dates and ticket information can be found on Idina's website.Tickets are currently on sale for all performances, with the exception of the two performances in Costa Mesa and the one performance in Kohler.

Theatre for Young Audiences USA (TYA/USA) has awarded Chicago Children's Theatre a $10,000 grant as part of the TYA Fund, a fund to support midsize theater organization members of TYA/USA.
