When Grant Maloy Smith performs traditional Christmas songs, he does so in a non-traditional way. The multi-award-winning singer/songwriter’s latest album, THE CHRISTMAS HEART (Tiger Turn/Suburban Cowboy Records), features 10 tracks, two of which are original while the rest offer a unique musical interpretation of classic tunes.

Next month, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.

The spectacular concert production, on a massive scale will reunite the all-star cast who will perform the songs from the Oscar-winning film, including fan-favorite musical numbers such as “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure,” at the iconic Hollywood Bowl. The special will include with a special introduction by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Louis Wishes You A Cool Yule features nearly the entirety of Armstrong’s holiday output: six singles from the ‘50s, including “Cool Yule,” “Christmas Night in Harlem,” and “‘Zat You Santa Claus?.” The 11-track album also features duets with Velma Middleton (“Baby, It’s Cold Outside”) and Ella Fitzgerald (“I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm”).

TDF will host the first-ever autism-friendly performance of New York City Ballet's production of The Nutcracker. There will be limited vinyl releases for Janis Joplin and Jorma Kaukonen’s The Legendary Typewriter Tape: 6/25/64 Jorma’s House, Jonathan Richman & The Modern Lovers’ Jonathan Sings!, and Bobby Cole’s A Point Of View.

The single, like the rest of the EP, was written and produced by Brooks. It follows “Sound The Alarm,” which features Patrick Stump and was the first bit of music Brooks revealed off of The 40HZ, and his first for Dine Alone. In addition to Stump and Moore the EP will also feature guest appearances by Jason Aalon Butler, and Paul Leary.
