The Peace Center unveiled its 2023-2024 Broadway season sponsored by Gibbs Cancer Center and the lineup is like a parade of the biggest names in modern music history. From its sensational start with the song and dance spectacular MJ all the way to its vivacious finale with MAMMA MIA!, this Peace Broadway season promises to have audiences leaping to their feet!

Next week, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work. 

The collection, which opens with Stills’ biggest hit, “Love the One You’re With,” and features a set list of instantly recognizable songs, including the medley of “49 Bye Byes” and “For What It’s Worth,” unexpectedly played on piano. David Crosby appears on “You Don’t Have To Cry” and “The Lee Shore.”

Folkocracy sees Wainwright joined by a spectacular lineup of friends, family members, and other special guest artists including Brandi Carlile, John Legend, David Byrne, Sheryl Crow, Nicole Scherzinger, Chaka Khan, Andrew Bird, ANOHNI, Susanna Hoffs, Van Dyke Parks, Madison Cunningham, and many more.

It’s one of the most anticipated times of the year at Wharton Center; the announcement of the new Broadway season. Tickets can be purchased as part of a subscription package starting Monday, April 10, at 10AM. 

Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) has announced the finalists for the 2023 Tommy Tune Awards and the return of the in-person awards show for the first time since 2019! The 2023 Tommy Tune Awards will be held on May 4 at 7 p.m. at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

Houston-born rapper Yung Pooda sets a sizzling tone for the year with the release of two new tracks “Already Know” featuring A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Angelica Vila and “Did It Again” featuring Fat Joe via It’s A 10 Records.
