This July, Covent Garden, the central London home of entertainment, dining and shopping, and Disney on Stage have joined forces to bring magic and wonder to visitors through a series of exclusive experiences inspired by spectacular West End productions including Frozen, The Lion King, Mary Poppins and newly launched Beauty and the Beast.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the musical event of the summer: Ragtime The Musical.

Call it “Sunday in the Park with A Cabbello” – clearly apropos for a special encore engagement of ““We’re Still Here” celebrating the music and legacy of Stephen Sondheim. Following the success of their first with-audience performance in two years May 14 & 15, the “BelloGents” of A Cabbello are back.

William Shakespeare's joyous and popular comedy Much Ado About Nothing will open at Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, the professional theatre on the campus of DeSales University. The show previews July 13 and 14, opens July 15, and runs through August 7 in the Schubert Theatre at the Labuda Center for the Performing Arts.

Skylight Music Theatre is accepting video submissions for non-union youth performers between the ages of 9-13 for A Jolly Holiday: Celebrating Disney’s Broadway Hits to be presented November 18 – December 31, 2022.

All new photos have been released from the West End production of Mary Poppins, as Louis Gaunt takes over the role of Bert. Gaunt replaces Charlie Stemp whilst he performs as Bobby in the Chichester Festival Theatre production of Crazy for You this summer. 

The final extension has been announced for the West End run of the Olivier Award-winning Mary Poppins which will celebrate its final West End performance at the Prince Edward Theatre on 8 January 2023.

Singer/tapper Luke Hawkins brought an extraordinary evening of singing, dancing and laughter to the Birdland Theater on Monday, June 20.  The show was a love letter to these art forms, as Luke paid homage to the history of tap dance greats. Check out photos here!

Here, she learned the value of incorporating movement and song into each day in the life of a child. Katie’s new album, Let’s Move, will be available on all streaming services.

Popejoy Hall will present two musicals still running on Broadway as well as a couple of well-known stars as part of its 2022-2023 season. The season includes 21 shows overall with a total of 50 performances from October 6, 2022 through June 11, 2023.

The Green Room 42 has announced their 2022 Pride Week line-up for in-person performances.  As previously announced, The Green Room 42 has launched $5 tickets in celebration of their 5th Anniversary: five $5 tickets will be available for every show through February 14, 2023.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts has announced the return of Music Mondays; the hit summer cabaret series that invites renowned artists and Tony Award-winners to perform for audiences and share stories of their time on and off the stage.

“Marc Robin ‘s vision for this production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC is that of a joyful, hopeful child,” says Hanley Smith, the actress who makes her debut as Maria von Trapp this week as Maine State Music Theatre kicks off its “Revival Season.” Describing the lens through which director/choreographer Robin views the piece, she continues, “This production comes from a very joyful, youthful place at the same time that there is an awareness of the weight and import of the story. In the face of deep darkness in the world, the light becomes all the brighter. Marc knows how to create both those worlds and the battle between them and make you really want the light to win. And you believe it CAN win. And that is not naïveté; that is an act of courage.”

The Muny announced today its full cast, design and production teams for the theatre's production of Chicago, June 13-19. The cast features Sarah Bowden (Roxie Hart), J. Harrison Ghee (Velma Kelly), Adam Heller (Amos Hart), Emily Skinner (Matron 'Mama' Morton), James T. Lane (Billy Flynn) and Ali Ewoldt (Mary Sunshine). The Kimmel Cultural Campus has announced that FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME founding member, producer, and Pulitzer Prize, Grammy®, Emmy®, and Tony Award® Winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, In the Heights, Disney’s Encanto) will join the national tour of FREESTYLE LOVE SUPREME as a special guest at the 8 p.m. performance on June 10, 2022.

The Green Room 42 has announced their June line-up for in-person performances. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest and most spacious cabaret club.
