The Smith Center for the Performing Arts announced its upcoming holiday lineup, featuring ELF THE MUSICAL, Nevada Ballet Theatre, the Las Vegas Philharmonic, and performances by Antonia Bennett, Clint Holmes, and more.

Jesus Christ Superstar has returned to Tapanui for the first time in 26 years, and the West Otago Theatrical Society (WOTS) has marked the occasion with a poignant nod to its own history. The production brings back key figures from the 2000 season, including Jeff Rea—who played Jesus then and now shares musical direction with Nicola Russell—and dancer Wendy Cook, who performed at age 16 and now returns to the stage alongside her two children. It is a lovely bit of continuity for this tight-knit community.

NJPAC revealed the lineup for the 15th annual TD James Moody Jazz Festival in Newark, featuring an Ben Vereen 80th birthday celebration, and performances by Gregory Porter, Charles Lloyd, and Christian McBride.
