Public booking opens at 9am today for The Jamie Lloyd Company production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal starring Golden Globe, Olivier and Evening Standard Award winner Tom Hiddleston. This new production, directed by Jamie Lloyd, will run at the Harold Pinter Theatre from 5 March 2019 (press night 13 March) for a strictly limited season ending on 1 June. To celebrate, a new behind-the-scenes shot of Tom Hiddleston, taken whilst filming the production's viral announcement trailer, is released today. (more...)

Downtown Urban Arts Festival Announces Finalists For 2019 Season

In Spring 2019, the Downtown Urban Arts Festival (DUAF) will return for its much-anticipated 17th annual season. Reg E. Gaines, Tony-nominated for Bring in da Noise Bring in da Funk, is back as the Artistic Director of the festival. The plot follows two love stories about seeming-opposites brought together by the circumstances of war and torn apart by prejudice and fear. SOUTH PACIFIC is based on James Michener's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "Tales of the South Pacific." Royal Shakespeare Company Associate Artist Alexandra Gilbreath returns to the company in Phillip Breen's riotous new production of John Vanbrugh's restoration comedy The Provoked Wife. Alexandra last appeared at the RSC as feisty courtesan Angellica Bianca in the 2016 production of The Rover by Aphra Behn. Other leading roles for the RSC include Hermione in The Winter's Tale, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Rosalind in As You Like It, Kate in The Taming of the Shrew and Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor. Phila Theatre Co Presents A DREAM IS A WISH Holiday Princess Concert

Philadelphia Theatre Company welcomes back everyone's favorite princesses for a heart-warming afternoon and evening concert for the entire family. During A Dream Is A Wish: Holiday Princess Concert audiences will sing-along with a gathering of  princes and princesses from popular movie musicals and television shows in a one-day-only event on Sunday, December 16, at 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite prince or princess. After the show, the cast will host  a meet-and-greet reception with holiday cookies, apple cider and photo opportunities. After an unfortunate 'failure to launch' mishap, Loading Dock Theatre is thrilled to announce that Leegrid Steven's Spaceman has once again been cleared for take-off and will launch into the Off-Broadway stratosphere beginning February 2019. This exciting news comes after the originally scheduled debut was forced to close after only one preview when leading lady Erin Treadway suffered a substantial fall that left her with serious fractures to both arms and left wrist.
