Burning Coal Theatre Company will present the premiere of Jerome Davis' Butterfly Wings adapted from the book Life and Death in High Places by Bruce Miller and Robin Simonton, directed by Allison Acuff. Butterfly Wings will run September 29th and 30th at 6:30 pm and October 1st at 2 pm, 2023, at the Oakwood Cemetery, located at 701 Oakwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Tennessee Shakespeare Company brings the classically exquisite story of Cyrano de Bergerac to its Owen and Margaret Wellford Tabor Stage, featuring an expansive design team and cast of AEA actors that includes TSC's Producing Artistic Director Dan McCleary in the title role.

With the slogan “Theatre In These Trying Times”, the 25th edition of the festival has set out to breathe fresh air into both the world of theatre and to theatre lovers with a programme of mostly new productions that look at the world, which is in search of a new normal, through the lens of theatre.

The Wooster Group's 2017 production of The B-Side: 'Negro Folklore from Texas State Prisons,' A Record Album Interpretation is now available to stream for free on the company's website through Monday, September 14.

Having postponed the world premiere in Vienna of its production of Bertolt Brecht's The Mother, The Wooster Group is retrenching at home in New York to develop and fund new work for an era of physical distancing. They will also offer online streaming of their groundbreaking work and initiate an ambitious fundraising effort.

Today marks the release of Music Director Thierry Fischer and the Utah Symphony's new all-Berlioz album on Hyperion Records. The recording features a varied selection from Berlioz's oeuvre, including his best-known work, Symphonie fantastique. The album also includes Rêverie et caprice for violin and orchestra, recorded with Philippe Quint when he was the orchestra's Artist-in-Association, and two poetry settings for orchestra and chorus, La mort d'Ophélie and Sara la baigneuse, which were recorded with the Utah Symphony Chorus and University of Utah Chamber Choir. The House Theatre of Chicago is proud to announce casting and the production team for the company's season opener, Borealis. Director Monty Cole helms the professional premiere of playwright Bennett Fisher's epic adventure through the corporate guts of Big Oil. Borealis runs August 30 through October 21 at Chopin Theatre's Upstairs Theater, 1543 W. Luna Stage is proud to open its 2016-2017 season with the world premiere of KING OF THE MOUNTAINS by Ben Clawson.  Audiences journey back to 1903 Yosemite and have a seat at the campfire as President Teddy Roosevelt and Naturalist John Muir go head to head.
