And despite the serious efforts of his mother and soon-to-be-ex-fiancee, Bobby achieves his dream! Memorable Gershwin tunes include I Can't Be Bothered Now, Bidin' My Time, I Got Rhythm, Naughty Baby, They Can't Take That Away from Me, But Not for Me, Nice Work if You Can Get It, Embraceable You and Someone to Watch Over Me. It's a high energy comedy which includes mistaken identity, plot twists, fabulous dance numbers and classic Gershwin music.

New York City Opera has announced that it will produce the world premiere of the award-winning jazz composer/pianist Ted Rosenthal's DEAR ERICH.  This new jazz opera, to be co-produced with the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene at the Museum of Jewish Heritage, will open Wednesday, January 9 and will play four performances only through Sunday, January 13 at the Edmond J. FORREST GUMP'S Joel Sill to Receive Legacy Award at The Guild of Music Supervisors Awards

The Guild of Music Supervisors announced today that industry legend Joel Sill will receive the organization's prestigious Legacy Award for his creative contribution to music in film. Sill's body of work includes Forrest Gump, The Goonies, Blade Runner, The Color Purple, and My Cousin Vinny.
