Cats has been nominated for several awards, including the Audience Award for Most Popular Show at the Olivier Awards, the Ned Sherrin Award for Best Musical at the Evening Standard Awards, and Designer of the Year at the Olivier Awards for John Napier. Additionally, the show's director, Trevor Nunn, received the Director of the Year award at the Olivier Awards, while Andrew Lloyd Webber and Richard Stilgoe won the Musical of the Year award at the Olivier Awards. Finally, Gillian Lynne received the Outstanding Achievement of the Year in a Musical award at the Olivier Awards.
