Jay Leno celebrated Bergen Performing Arts Center's (bergenPAC's) reopening of the theater in Englewood, N.J., with a historic drive through town and ribbon cutting. Jay Leno attended the private reception at Benzel-Busch Mercedes-Benz Automotive Dealership in Englewood, N.J. for a private reception taking photos with the Mercedes-Benz 1955 Gulfwing and the all-new AMG EQS Sedan from Benzel-Busch to bergenpac to cut the ribbon before his performance to a sold-out audience of over 1300 people. The story follows them into adulthood as their relationship endures in spite of such obstacles as parental resistance, differing views on monogamy, separation, and finally HIV.

Kings of Harlem, an exuberant play about an African-American basketball team in the 1930s and Sunday in the Park with George, Stephen Sondheim's intricate musical about painter George Seurat, took their respective places in South Florida theatrical history as Best Play and Best Musical on Monday, April 2, when the winners of the 42nd annual Carbonell Awards were announced. The ceremony was held at Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale.
