Each year, Radio City Music Hall hosts a talent show for more than 100 children from the Garden of Dreams Foundation. The Garden of Dreams Foundation is MSG's non-profit charity that helps children that are facing obstacles from sickness to homelessness and poverty.

'This episode of Broadway Rewind is a look at a legend, a classic and a musical poet,' says BroadwayWorlds' own Richard Ridge. 'I got to chat with Cyndi Lauper who was making her Broadway debut in Roundabout's production of The Threepenny Opera, than I dropped by the opening of the new production of Jacques Brel starring Robert Cuccioli, but it started off downtown at the now defunct Actors Playhouse to catch up with an icon I had always wanted to meet, T.V. and cult film star Adrianne Barbeau, who was starring as the legendary Judy Garland in a one woman show 'The Property Known as Garland'  written by her husband Billy Van Sant.

'Hear ye, hear ye...Prince Wellington is seeking a bride.' The classic fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen comes to life in a new musical THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA at Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences, 10 Marriott Drive in Lincolnshire, from February 8 to April 19, 2019, with a press opening on Saturday, February 15 at 10 a.m. This new spin on the classic tale features music by Marc Robin, book and lyrics by Rick Boynton, and additional lyrics by Curt Dale Clark and Marc Robin. THE PRINCESS AND THE PEA is directed and choreographed by Artistic Director Aaron Thielen, with musical direction by Patti Garwood.

2019 has seen seminal punk band Flipper touring North America and Europe in celebration of 40 years of being a band. Tom Stoppard's genre-bending comedy, Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead comes to the Huntington Theatre Company helmed by Norma Jean Calderwood Artistic Director Peter DuBois. Performances began September 20 at the Avenue of the Arts / Huntington Avenue Theatre (264 Huntington Avenue, Boston) and will run through October 20. Tickets are now on sale to the general public.

Neo-traditional country music artist and Alabama-native Shane Owens is back with an all new song called “Hard Luck Girl,” along with a concept video, premiered by Country Rebel yesterday [Click to watch]. Apple Music today announced Lunay as the latest addition to its Up Next program, Apple Music's monthly artist initiative geared towards identifying, showcasing and elevating rising talent. Disney Junior's 'Mickey and the Roadster Racers' featuring Disney's #1 star, Mickey Mouse, and his pals, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy and Pluto, will premiere its third season with the new title, 'Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures,' and an updated version of the fan-favorite 'Hot Dog!' song, on MONDAY, OCT. 14 on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and DisneyNOW. That same day, a new series of shorts, 'Hot Diggity-Dog Tales' starring Mickey and 'mouse's best friend' Pluto will also debut on Disney Channel, Disney Junior and DisneyNOW.

Hadestown announced today on ABC's “Good Morning America” that the show will launch a National Tour beginning in the Fall of 2020. In its first year, the tour will visit more than 30 cities coast to coast, including (alphabetically) Denver; Houston; Los Angeles; Minneapolis; New Orleans; Philadelphia; Tempe; and Washington, DC; with more to be announced shortly.

A brand new trailer has been released for the European premiere of new LGBTQ+ musical THE VIEW UPSTAIRS. The show began previews at the Soho Theatre on 18 July and will run until 24 August.

The debut trailer for Yellow Rose, starring Hadestown's Eva Noblezada, Princess Punzalan, Lea Salonga, and Dale Watson has been released. Written and Directed by Diane Paragas, Yellow Rose tells the story of a headstrong Filipino girl, from a small Texas town, fighting to pursue her country music dreams while facing the threat of deportation.

Warner Bros has released the trailer for the gritty, female-driven mob drama “The Kitchen,” from New Line Cinema and BRON Creative, which was written and directed by Andrea Berloff and stars Oscar nominee Melissa McCarthy (“Can You Ever Forgive Me?” “Bridesmaids”), Tiffany Haddish (“Girls Trip”), and Elisabeth Moss (“The Handmaid's Tale”).
