Wilbury Theatre Group presents the Rhode Island premiere of Tony-Award winner for Best Play (2016) The Humans by Stephen Karam, directed by Josh Short.  Running November 17 – December 11, the production features Jim O'Brien, Jeanine Kane, Rachel Dulude, Jessie March, Dave Rabinow, & Carol Varden.

Pumpkin spice laughter is in the air this fall as legendary Chicago comedy institution The Second City is unleashing a lineup of interactive, laugh-out-loud shows on their stages all season long. 

Beanie Feldstein has joined the cast of Ethan Coen's new film, joining the previously announced Margaret Qualley and Geraldine Viswanathan. The picture will be Coen's first time directing a film without his brother, Joel. Plot and character details are currently being kept under wraps.

Nope will screen as a special IMAX® presentation at the Cinesphere Theatre at Ontario Place, which has the distinction of being the world’s first permanent IMAX® theatre. SHOWTIME has greenlit the half-hour comedy pilot MASON, produced by A24 and created and executive produced by Nathan Min (Joe Pera Talks To You), who also stars. Daniels (Daniel Scheinert and Daniel Kwan), the team behind the film Everything Everywhere All at Once, will direct and executive produce alongside Steven Yeun (Minari, Nope).

Second City and SNL alum Jerry Minor returns to Chicago to direct his first resident stage production with an ensemble that includes e.t.c. stage vets Alex Bellisle, Mark Campbell, Terrence Carey, and Laurel Krabacher, Mainstage alum Jordan Savusa, and former Second City Touring Company member Claudia Martinez.

Legendary Chicago comedy institution The Second City has announced the creation of The Victor Wong Fellowship, a program to train and mentor up-and-coming comedians. Named after The Second City's first Asian American performer and funded by Peng Zhao, CEO of Citadel Securities, and his wife, Cherry Chen, the fellowship will focus on developing the next generation of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) talent.
