This December, City Springs Theatre Company (CSTC) brings the nostalgic, Broadway spectacular Irving Berlin's White Christmas to Atlanta-area audiences, with additional performances already in place to meet the demand for this holiday classic.

'Tis the season! Don't miss the beloved classic, White Christmas, at Town Theatre. Follow two show biz buddies as they mount a production in a Vermont inn to save their former military commander's business. Featuring brilliant songs by Irving Berlin, this holiday treat is not to be missed!

Tony Yazbeck has joined Ryan Murphy’s latest FX anthology American Sports Story. Yazbeck will play a key recurring role opposite the previously reported Tony winner Lindsay Mendez, West Side story and Hamilton alum Josh Andrés Rivera, and Patrick Schwarzenegger.

The Lexington Theatre Company brings Broadway and Rising Stars to the stage.  Irving Berlin’s White Christmas will be led by seasoned pros from Broadway/National Tours including Matthew Amira (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Dirty Dancing) as Bob Wallace, Darius Jordan Lee (Ain’t Too Proud) as Phil Davis, Gregory North (Into the Woods, Secret Garden, Grand Hotel) as General Waverly, Desi Oakley (Waitress, Annie, Chicago, Wicked, Les Misérables) as Betty Hanyes and Molly Rushing (Anastasia the Musical) as Judy Haynes. They will share the stage with Lexingtonians Rachel Allison Black (Martha Watson) and Rory Harden (Susan Waverly).

Less than 48 hours after opening night of Cumberland County Playhouse’s 2023 holiday season offering of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, we are happy/sad to report that tickets are mighty scarce as the sparkling production is almost certainly headed to a complete sellout.

Shawnee Mission Park’s “Theatre in the Park,” marks the season with an oddly appropriate July production of “Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.” The item up for view and review is a very nice production of Irving Berlin classic songs and the familiar tale based on a 1954 movie of the same name.  There is significantly more Irving Berlin music in the staged musical than in the 1954 film. 

'Irving Berlin's White Christmas' will play Theatre in the Park on Friday, July 14 in Shawnee Mission Park. 'Irving Berlin's White Christmas' continues through the weekend on Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16, with four additional performances Wednesday, July 19 through Saturday, July 22.

Leading Broadway and West End musical theatre actors Lena Hall and Oliver Tompsett are to star in the new musical In Dreams, written by Emmy and Golden Globe-winning and Olivier Award-nominated David West Read (Writer and Executive Producer Schitt’s Creek, Author & Juliet) which will premiere at Leeds Playhouse from 3 July – 5 August.
