It’s based on the Paramount Pictures 1954 film of the same name, which starred Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen, and was Hollywood’s all-time highest-grossing musical.

Released in 1954, ten years after D-Day, the movie White Christmas was a bonafide blockbuster. It was the first Paramount movie shot in the widescreen VistaVision format, and featured rich and vivid Technicolor, which the costumers and set designers used to their full advantage.

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas - the heartwarming musical adaptation based on the beloved, timeless Paramount Pictures film of the same name - continues The Gateway’s 75th Season, and will perform at The Gateway Playhouse in Bellport, NY.
