Music City, which was set to be presented Off-Broadway, has had to be put on hiatus due to unforeseen issues with the show’s venue at 512 West 42nd Street.

Music City, which opened to rave reviews last year and was extended three times by popular demand in its award-winning run at BEDLAM, will reopen at 512 West 42nd Street near 10th Avenue just west of Times Square in a new venue that is being refashioned into a fully functioning Nashville bar, expressly for the production. Milburn Theatre at Amphibian Stage Productions.  Mary Catherine Burke will direct and Jacob Nice will music direct.

Amphibian Stage Productions has announced it will develop Music City, USA, a new musical with music and lyrics by JT Harding and book by Peter Zinn.  The musical will replace the previously announced Mystic in the Savage State by David A. Miller in Amphibian's staged reading series.  Music City USA will have two performances, on Sunday, August 21 at 2pm and Monday, August 22 at 7pm, in the Berlene T. and Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre at Amphibian Stage Productions.
