It was a big day at Sari's yesterday, as the iconic venue just unveiled a brand new Broadway portrait! Friends and family joined Tony Award winner and star of The Prom Beth Leavel, as her portrait joined the historic collection on the restaurant's walls, honoring Broadway's finest for more than 85 years. Sardi's Restaurant unveiled a long-awaited caricature of showbiz legend, Miss Rose Marie, Friday, Nov. 3rd.

The film is called, 'WAIT FOR YOUR LAUGH' and is directed by Jason Wise and produced by Christina Wise, Jason Wise, and co-produced by Jackson Myers. To get right to the point, the documentary is utterly fantastic. But the 33 minutes and 42 seconds I spent on phone with Rose Marie will be forever unforgettable.

Just yesterday, Academy Award-winning filmmaker, best-selling author and political icon Michael Moore and his Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer, added another Broadway milestone to their lists. The Terms of My Surrender duo was honored with their very own portraits at theatre district landmark, Sardi's. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the celebration and you can check out photos below!

The best of Broadway dressed to impress yesterday as six-time Tony-winning costume designer William Ivey Long got his very own caricature at the legendary Sardi's. Long was joined by many of his friends for the special occasion and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the big day!
