The New York-based artist The Bones of J.R. Jones released “Animals,” the final pre-release single from Slow Lightning, his first studio album in more than 5 years. On October 12, he will kick off the second leg of his US album release tour in Washington, D.C. followed by a hometown album release show at Mercury Lounge in New York.

Casting has been revealed for the return of Off-Broadway’s absurdly irreverent musical comedy, A Musical About Star: Or, Why Star Wars is the Greatest Thing to Ever Happen in the History of the Galaxy Much, Much Better Than Star Trek! 

Off-Broadway’s “Love Quirks” will stream on Stellar Tickets on Saturday, August 27th at 8PM and Sunday, August 28th at 3PM.

You can’t hurry LOVE QUIRKS. After a 27-month hiatus due to the 2020 pandemic, the award-winning musical has returned to off-Broadway with 18 songs and some timely Tinder wisdom: being “single and ready to mingle” means recognizing quirks, ignoring smirks, and rejecting jerks.

Performances of the off-Broadway musical “Love Quirks” will continue to have a mask mandate for its audience members through its summer run.

Wielding his fiery fiddle, composer/performer Douglas Waterbury-Tieman (THE ROBBER BRIDEGROOM), is joined by his wife Annabelle Fox (DISNEY'S FREAKY FRIDAY), along with Jennifer Fouché (CHICKEN & BISCUITS), Larry Tobias (THE GRAND TOUR), Erikka Walsh (ONCE), and Maggie Stallings (KINKY BOOTS), for a concert version of the foot-stompin' new musical JOHNNY & the DEVIL'S BOX.
