Susie Mosher's weekly show THE LINEUP is back and running regularly in the Birdland Theater in NYC. She invites her performing friends to join her every week for a variety style show featuring singing, dancing, and comedy. Every week is different, and every week is a guaranteed fun time.
After a hiatus for holiday work, Susie Mosher made a welcome and victorious return to her home away from home last week, and Birdland was better for it.
Marilyn Maye rang in the 2023 New Year's with a weekend of Holiday shows in the Birdland Theater just down the street from Times Square. As the ball dropped, the toasts went up and the songs poured out. With 4 nights of shows, from Dec 29th to Jan 1st (7 shows in all), she provided a proper musical CHEERS to the NYC audience. Amazing Maye!

Birdland presents the return of Karen Mason, who stormed the stage with her legendary Christmas show on December 19. “Christmas! Christmas! Christmas!” showcases Karen’s unique interpretations of old and new holiday classics, including a slinky arrangement of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town,” a heartfelt “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” and many more. The show featured direction by Barry Kleinbort, with musical direction by Christopher Denny on piano and Tom Hubbard on bass.

Carole J. Bufford returned to Birdland on Monday, October 31 with a brand-new show celebrating all things Halloween. Ms. Bufford and company (Ian Herman, Howie Gordon, Tom Hubbard) brought eerie music like 'Every Breath You Take,' 'Bad Moon Rising,” 'I Want To Be Evil,' 'Witchy Woman,' 'Cruella de Ville,' 'St. James Infirmary,' 'Send Me To The 'Lectric Chair,' and more to the stage of the historic music room.
On Monday, October 17, Julie Halston returned to the Birdland stage after two-and-a-half years of global pandemic Zoom Meetings and Green Screens. The Tony-winning actress/comedienne brought her new show “De-Classified,” in which she assesses the state of the world, the state of her life and the state of her hair.
