Congo Square Theatre Company will present the second season of its popular Hit 'Em on the Blackside sketch comedy series. The cast and crew up the ante in season two by bringing back memorable characters from season one for an exciting crossover story that spans 12 new episodes.

Trap Door Theatre will continue its 28th season with Dinner With Marx. Directed by Kasey Foster, Dinner With Marx will run Virtually beginning on Friday, October 8th.

With an international cast of 12 artists from around the globe, Trap Door Theatre presents a collection of musical videos inspired by the poetry of Romanian playwright, Matei Visniec.

Cabinet of Curiosity will present Sea Change, an outdoor celebration exploring the power of the sea and the feminine divine. Actors Gym is pleased to announce 'Isolated,' its annual Spring Youth Circus, which has been devised through an innovative online rehearsal process. It features 28 of its top youth performers working under the direction of Kasey Foster and Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi. The show will be screened online on May 16 and 23 at 7:30pm.

The House Theatre of Chicago will offer pay-what-you-wish remote viewing of its latest mainstage production, Verböten, the true-ish story of how punk rock saved the lives of four Evanston kids in 1983.

The House Theatre of Chicago will extend Verböten, the company's second main stage production of its 18th season. Directed by The House's Artistic Director Nathan Allen, with book by Brett Neveu and music and lyrics by Jason Narducy, The House will add 13 performances of Verböten running through Sunday, March 29 at the Chopin Theatre, 1543 W. Michigan Ave. at Pearson.

Joining the Ensemble are Walter Briggs (Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Moby Dick), Kasey Foster (The Steadfast Tin Soldier, 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas), circus choreographer Sylvia Hernandez-DiStasi (The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein), Anthony Irons (The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Act(s) of God), and composer and sound designer Andre Pluess (The Steadfast Tin Soldier, Eastland). New Artistic Associates include Cordelia Dewdney (Moby Dick, Hard Times), Wendy Mateo (Big Lake Big City, Beyond Caring), costume designer Sully Ratke (Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, 20,000 Leagues Under the Seas) and Matthew C. Yee (Treasure Island, Moby Dick).
