The Screen Actors Guild Awards were held Sunday, Feb. 27 at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica. The telecast aired on TNT and TBS. Among the big winners for the evening, taking home multiple awards, were CODA, Squid Game and Ted Lasso.

Ted Lasso has an early present with the debut of a surprise stop motion short featuring the voice talents of the cast. The holiday short stars Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Phil Dunster and Nick Mohammed.

On the heels of Emmy Award-winning 'Ted Lasso” being named an AFI Television Program of the Year and honored with multiple Critics Choice nominations, including Best Comedy Series, the team that brought kindness back delivers an early present with the debut of a surprise stop motion short featuring the voice talents of the beloved ensemble cast as they help Ted search for a lost item that ultimately leads him to realize the meaning of the holiday season. 

CBS and the Television Academy presented the 73rd EMMY® AWARDS, hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, September 19 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/5:00-8:00 PM, live PT) on the CBS Television Network, and it is now available to stream on demand on Paramount+. Find out all of the winners!

This morning, Hamilton star Jasmine Cephas Jones and Ron Cephas Jones announced the 2021 Primetime Emmy Nominations, which included 12 nominations for the Disney Plus recording of Hamilton in addition to nomination for Broadway veterans like Billy Porter, Cynthia Erivo, Julie Andrews, the Lopezes and so many more.

Nominees include Leslie Odom Jr., Renée Elise Goldsberry, Bryan Cranston, Colton Domingo, and more.

This marks “Ted Lasso” star and executive producer Jason Sudeikis’ first Critics Choice Award nomination and win, on the heels of winning Best Actor in a Comedy Series at the Golden Globe Awards.  

Palmer, which is now streaming globally on Apple TV+, stars Justin Timberlake, Alisha Wainwright and Juno Temple. The film, directed by Fisher Stevens, is a hopeful and inspirational story about an unlikely pair who come together and find the family they were both missing.

Today, Nathaniel Rateliff premieres “Redemption,” a new song the acclaimed singer-songwriter wrote for the forthcoming Apple Original film, Palmer.

Following its breakout first season and early second season renewal, Apple TV+ has renewed 'Ted Lasso' for a third season.

During the UEFA Champions League final, which took place last night, (Sunday, August 23), Coach Ted Lasso, Jason Sudeikis’ titular character in Apple TV’s critically acclaimed, global hit original comedy series of the same name, “Ted Lasso,” called legendary football Manager José Mourinho seeking advice as he starts his new role leading the (fictional) Premier League club AFC Richmond. Mourinho, known widely as “The Special One,” reluctantly took a few minutes out of his evening to give Lasso, a Division II college football coach who has never coached a soccer game in his life, a few pointers which he graciously accepted (and desperately needed).

Apple today released the official trailer for “Ted Lasso,” a new original comedy series from Jason Sudeikis and Bill Lawrence, that will premiere globally with the first three episodes on Apple TV+ on Friday, August 14.
