STAGES St. Louis founder Jack Lane may need to clear space on his mantle for additional hardware. This morning, when the Society of London Theatre announced their 2026 nominations for the Olivier Awards, Lane became a first time Olivier nominee. Two of his productions, Evita and The Producers picked up nominations for Best Revival of a Musical.

Romeo & Juliet will extend for two weeks due to popular demand. The production, starring Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe, directed by Robert Icke, will begin performances at the Harold Pinter Theatre on Wednesday 18 March.

Broadway's Stranger Things: The First Shadow, the prequel play to the Netflix series, will be filmed this week for a future release on the streamer. Performances from Tuesday, February 10 to Saturday, February 14 have been canceled to accommodate.
