November 18, 2019 - BIG PICTURE, the new comedy musical, is having an invitation-only developmental reading November 22nd & 23rd at Ripley-Grier Studios.

Utah Lyric Opera, in association with Thunder Media Group, will present the New York Premiere of An Enchanted April, a new musical based on the novel The Enchanted April, by Elizabeth von Arnim, with book and lyrics by Elizabeth Hansen, music & lyrics by C. Michael Perry and directed by Alice Jankell in a limited engagement (November 1-16) at Theatre Two at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street).

AT THIS PERFORMANCEa?? celebrates its 16th anniversary and returns to The Green Room 42 featuring Standbys and Understudies from Moulin Rouge; Ain't Too Proud; Broadway Bounty Hunter; Frozen; Kiss Me, Kate; Be More Chill; Alice By Heart; School Of Rock; and Bandstand on Monday, October 7th at 7pm.

Visceral Entertainment is announces private industry readings of Mike Lee's TALL SHIPS, directed by Thomas Caruso (Southern Comfort, The Public Theatre).

The new musical, The Crossing and the Ten Crucial Days, will present an industry reading at the Washington Crossing Park on the Delaware River in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where the titular crossing took place. Directed by Gabriel Vega Weissman (Titus Burgess in Concert), with book and lyrics by Jason Huza (It Happened in Key West) and music by John Allen Watts, the reading will take place on September 5th, 2019. With support from The Washington Crossing Park, The Ten Crucial Days Organization, and the Crossing Vineyards, the site-specific musical presentation is drawing on the local roots.

The new musical Passing Through, is wrapping up its run at Goodspeed Opera House this weekend. According to a new report, the show has its sights set on NYC.

Set amidst the rich sounds and diverse tapestry of the American landscape, Passing Through tells the incredible true story of a young man who journeys on foot from Pennsylvania to California, collecting stories as he goes. But when his trek brings to light an unresolved family crisis, he must use the lessons he's gathered to finally confront his past. Passing Through is now open at Goodspeed Musicals. The show features music and lyrics by Brett Ryback, book by Eric Ulloa, choreography by Marcos Santana, and direction by Igor Goldin. The show is based on the memoir 'Walking to Listen' by Andrew Forsthoefel.

Stephen DeAngelis continues his ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of AT THIS PERFORMANCE… to be held on Monday, June 3rd at The Green Room 42, Green Fig, Fourth Floor, Yotel NYC, 570 Tenth Avenue (at 42nd Street), New York, NY 10036 at 7 PM.
