Short+Sweet Hollywood’s 2025 season has officially concluded, with winners announced during a ceremony on Sunday led by Festival Director Ashley Karp and Producer Soda Persi.
Short+Sweet Hollywood has announced the full slate of finalists for its 2025 season, featuring a mix of returning artists and first-time participants. The festival will present Latin X Finals on November 21, English Finals on November 22, and an Awards Show and Gala on November 23 at the Victory Theatre in Burbank.
Short+Sweet Hollywood will return for its seventh season this fall, running October 17 through November 23, 2025, at the Victory Theater in Burbank. Festival Director Ashley Karp will once again lead the event, which will showcase a wide range of ten-minute plays created by both returning and new artists.
Rose City Center will present Peace of Mind II: A Festival of Short Plays on September 6, 2024, at The Colony Theatre in Burbank. Written and directed by Jeff Locker, this one-night-only fundraising event features award-winning short plays performed by a star-studded cast.

The eighth annual Asian World Film Festival (AWFF) announced its competition winners at a star-studded event November 18 at Beverly Hill's Saban Theater.
