Second Stage will offer simulcasts of its upcoming Broadway production of Stephen Adly Guirgis’ BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY, directed by Austin Pendleton, for the final two weeks of its run, January 31 – February 12, 2023, allowing theater fans who aren’t able to attend in person the opportunity to witness a live Broadway performance from home.

Drury Lane Theatre has announced its 2023/2024 season, which opens with Grease, followed by the riotous whodunit The 39 Steps. The season continues with Ring of Fire, featuring the music of Johnny Cash, the magical family-favorite Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella, and the celebrated classic Fiddler on the Roof.

It is always a joy to see a group of young actors pour their hearts into a show. Director Chad-Alan Carr, with music director Carrie Conklin and choreographer Kaitlyn Ball, have worked with the cast of Xanadu Jr. to create a delightful production that puts the focus on the actors and their talents.

Gettysburg Community Theatre, the non-profit 501c3 organization located within the first block of Lincoln Square at 49 York Street, will present their student production of the musical Xanadu October 6-17, 2022 with performances live on stage at 7pm Thursdays and Saturdays, as well as 2pm on Sundays.

Michael R. Jackson's WHITE GIRL IN DANGER will begin previews on March 15, 2023 and will officially open on April 10, 2023 at Second Stage’s Off-Broadway home, the Tony Kiser Theater. The limited 8-week run will play through Sunday, May 21, 2023.

New tickets for the January school holidays are on sale this week for the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella, which will waltz into Sydney's Lyric Theatre in October. Pre-sales for tickets up to 22 January 2023 have begun and general public sales commence Friday 16 September.

Michael S. Rosenberg has been named incoming President and CEO of New York City Center. Beginning November 1, Rosenberg succeeds Arlene Shuler who is stepping down after more than 19 years at the helm of Manhattan's first performing arts center.

The production will feature SAWYER BARTH and LILY McINERNY, both of whom will be making their off-Broadway stage debuts.

ABC News Studios will air “Cinderella: The Reunion, A Special Edition of 20/20” featuring members of its all-star cast — Brandy, Whoopi Goldberg, Paolo Montalban, Victor Garber, Bernadette Peters, Jason Alexander and Veanne Cox. Billy Porter, Todrick Hall, Debra Martin Chase, Neil Meron, and costumer Ellen Mirojnick will also make appearances.

Due to overwhelming demand, the acclaimed new production of SISTER ACT THE MUSICAL has added an additional performance to the run at London's Eventim Apollo, meaning the show's final performance in its star-studded limited run is now on Sunday 28 August at 8.00pm.

XANADU, the musical hit that enchanted South Bay audiences for 11 weeks in 2011 at The Retro Dome, returns for a limited run at San Jose Playhouse. Performances will take place as part of 3Below Theaters' “Up On The Roof” program, an outdoor entertainment festival taking place on the roof of the 2nd Street and San Carlos Garage above 3Below Theaters.
