Opening this Friday, July 28 and running through Sunday, July 30, this kooky, spooky and hilarious musical extravaganza, performed by students ages 12 to 14, promises to be a highlight of the summer.

Cygnet Theatre has announced its full line up for the 2023/2024 Season. The organization's 20th Anniversary Season will also be its last full season in Old Town before the milestone move to the ARTS DISTRICT Liberty Station, whose projected opening is in 2025. The 20th season features all musicals as a way to capture the theatre's past, present and future in a celebratory way.

Cygnet Theatre has announced a full lineup of holiday programming for December, 2020. While the news is bleak and spirits may not be as high as usual for this time of year, the theatre hopes to bring some joy into the homes of San Diegans with their December programming. Programs include the cabaret-style Musical Monday: Home for the Holidays, a streaming version of the 2011 production It's a Wonderful Life, and their continued tradition of presenting A Christmas Carol, this year as a new one-man, original filmed adaptation featuring Artistic Director Sean Murray.

A Christmas Carol returns to Cygnet Theatre for its sixth season of cheer. It has become a true holiday favorite, with San Diegans making Scrooge, the Spirits, and the Cratchit family part of their holiday tradition. And for the first time, Cygnet Theatre is pleased to add a sensory friendly performance to the schedule. The family-friendly musical runs November 27 - December 29 at Cygnet Theatre in Old Town. Opening Night for Media is Saturday, November 30 at 8:00pm.
ATP's Sexy Night at the Opera Returns With a Circus Twist

a?oeMais ouia?? meets Midway in ATP's new presentation of OperaLesque, a tantalizing mix of opera, classical burlesque, and aerial circus acts, running August 23-25 at the ATP Garage, 6464 Hwy 93 in Whitefish. OperaLesque will feature some of the greatest opera singers in the nation from the Metropolitan Opera and New York City Opera companies mixed with tantalizing burlesque. Patrons will step into the world reminiscent of the Moulin Rouge and the big-top circuses of old, enjoying cocktails at the ATP Garage while being treated to vocal and physical virtuosity around them and above them. The late-night performances are all at 9pm and are for adults only. Only 60 seats are available per performance.

At Theater West End, you've entered the world of WEST SIDE STORY before even taking your seat. Getting there requires walking across the blue-collar, gang-ridden streets of 1950s New York in the Upper West Side. There's graffiti on the floor beneath you and the walls all around. T-shirts hang out to dry on clotheslines over your head. There's a basketball goal on the cage-wire fence the band sits behind. You might even be seated next to a fire hydrant or a traffic cone. It takes a moment to remember that this same space was home to Madison County's bridges just a couple months ago...
