Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) is ready to rock into spring with a feline favorite starring in his own musical, Pete The Cat. Written by Sarah Hammond and Will Aronson, the musical is based on the wildly popular children's book and television series Pete The Cat by James and Kimberly Dean. Orlando Repertory Theatre (Orlando REP) is beginning 2020 with an onstage adaptation of the beloved classic novel a?oeAnne of Green Gablesa?? by L.M. Montgomery. The stage play by the same name is reimagined by playwright R. N. Sandberg, and follows the story of young orphan Anne Shirley and the place in which she accidentally finds family, friends, and home. Anne of Green Gables opens to the public this Saturday, February 1 and runs through February 23 with performances on Saturdays and Sundays. Based on the novel by Natalie Babbitt, with book by Claudia Shear and Tim Federle, music by Chris Miller and lyrics by Nathan Tysen, Tuck Everlasting tells the story of the eternal Tuck Family and their meeting of Winnie Foster, a young girl with quite an adventure ahead of her.
St. Luke's United Methodist Church presents Disney's and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins which tells the story of the Banks family and the struggles, adventures, and transformations they endure as they live in the big city of London during the early 1900s.
