Their work primarily includes engineering for live entertainment, designing theatrical works and plays, producing online work, and functioning in a variety of roles in post-production for film and audio dramas.

BIO

Noel Nichols (they/she) Chicana sound designer from Phoenix, working in Los Angeles, New York and regionally.

Their work primarily includes engineering for live entertainment, designing theatrical works and plays, producing online work, and functioning in a variety of roles in post-production for film and audio dramas. They specialize in the system design and vocal reinforcement aspects of sound design, and are also a skilled content creator, composer, and editor.
Noel has most recently worked with Geffen Playhouse Primary Stages, Boston Court Pasadena, Berkeley Repertory, The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse, Goodman Theatre, South Coast Repertory, Indianapolis Repertory Theater, New York Theatre Workshop, Ensemble Studio Theater, Denver Center Theatre, Miami New Drama, Hartford Stage, Baltimore Center Stage, Syracuse Stage, INTAR, WP Theater, Barrington Stage, National Black Theatre, Classic Stage Company, Studio and Signature Theatres DC, and others. They have also worked extensively in the world of audio dramas, with work currently available for streaming on Audible, Spotify and Apple. MFA in Sound Design from Yale School of Drama.
