Seoyoung Park (she/her) is a Korean actor who considers Chicago her second home. Born and raised in Seoul, she moved to the U.S. to pursue a master’s degree in Acting at DePaul University, where she proudly graduated. She also holds a B.A. and M.A. in Acting from Chung-Ang University in Seoul.
Seoyoung made her Chicago theatre debut in TUTA Theatre’s Attempts on Her Life (Ensemble), which earned the Jeff Award for Best Ensemble(2024), and is proud to have become an associate member of TUTA. She has also appeared in TOM & ELIZA (ELIZA), The Long Christmas Dinner (Leonora) at TUTA, and The Heart Sellers (Jane) at Northlight Theatre, for which she was nominated for the Equity Jeff Award for Performer in a Principal Role – Play (2025).
Prior to relocating to Chicago, she built a diverse career in the Korean entertainment industry, featuring in various TV shows and films, including Criminal Minds and Don’t Dare to Dream, and Indecent (Halina) at Daehakro Arts Theatre in Seoul.
Her journey is defined by dedication, a commitment to bridging cultures, and an unwavering passion for her craft.
